The specialist mobile advertising company, Ximobi, and the business and marketing consulting company, The Salmon Factor, have extended their collaboration agreement for the promotion of advertising, new forms of communication and marketing on mobile phones, after three years of intense joint work.
So, from now on, The Salmon Factor, as a leading company in Andalusia relating to the services offered by Ximobi, also incorporates video advertising for smartphones, a field in full growth, since the online video viewing through mobile devices grew 400% in the last biennium.
This option also allows companies of any size that are beginning to make video for the Internet, can make this material even more profitable by including it as part of the advertising strategy, now that pills or ‘how to’ videos are so fashionable.
According to Javier Gascón, CEO of Ximobi, “the online video continues to show rapid growth and, currently, anyone can be a television advertiser on mobile media reaching a large audience, also having the possibility to redirect to their own web or a phone call after clicking on the advertisement and, all of it, with a very tight budget.”
In this regard, Pablo González, CEO of The Salmon Factor, explains that “according to the latest reports, about 50% of online videos consumed worldwide are viewed via smartphones and the only effective way to advertise is using content adapted to this medium.”
