In 2023, The Salmon Factor made history by becoming the first Spanish agency to win a Gold EFFIE Award in the United States. This recognition, earned for the campaign “Unfollow la receta” for Riviana Foods, not only confirmed the campaign’s effectiveness in the “Multicultural Products” category, but also opened the door to a new phase: the 2024 Global Best of the Best EFFIE Awards.

What are the Global Best of the Best EFFIE Awards?

Organized by EFFIE Worldwide, The Global Best of the Best EFFIE Awards represents the highest level of marketing excellence on a global scale. Only campaigns that have won a Gold or Grand Effie in the previous year are eligible to participate. Thus, the campaign “Unfollow la receta”, carried out by the agencies Alma DDB, Spark Foundry, and of course, The Salmon Factor, continued its journey as a Global Grand EFFIE Contender, competing side by side with the most effective campaigns in the world. This recognition not only highlights the quality of the work done but also showcases the creativity, innovation, and outstanding results achieved in comparison with campaigns from all over the globe.

In 2024, the competition brought together 58 marketing campaigns from over 55 different categories worldwide, covering markets in 25 countries where the competition is held nationally or, in some cases, regionally. These campaigns come from 19 different industries, with standout projects ranging from the food and beverage sector to financial services and social causes.
